On January 1, a representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that starting in 2025, airlines registered to operate 675 flights, an increase of 21 flights compared to yesterday.

Specifically, there are 335 flights departing from Tan Son Nhat, 186 domestic flights, and 143 international flights.

In contrast, there are 340 flights landing at Tan Son Nhat, including 192 domestic flights and 148 international flights.

Tan Son Nhat recorded nearly 105,478 passengers today, of which 51,558 departed and 53,920 arrived.

Compared to yesterday, flights and passenger volume during Tet holiday only increased slightly.

According to port representatives, the airport area today, despite the increase in passengers, is still clear and operations are stable.

However, a representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that it is still increasing human resources and synchronously implementing many solutions to improve passenger service capacity and limit congestion during rush hours.

In order to support passengers in the security screening area and public halls of the stations during rush hours and to limit congestion, functional units, including volunteer union members, were on duty to support passengers.
