Previously, according to the Vietnam Exhibition Center, on the first day of opening the Exhibition of 80 years of national achievements, more than 230,000 visitors came to experience the activities at the booths.
However, on August 30 - the first day of the 4-day holiday, it was observed that the number of visitors here was about 3 times higher than the previous days.
Not only Hanoians but also many people and delegations from other localities came to visit the Exhibition on this occasion. Many people came here wearing costumes or scarves with the two colors red and yellow like the national flag, making the Exhibition more colorful and meaningful on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The booths of ministries, departments, branches and localities still attract a large number of visitors to see, experience, interact, take souvenir photos... Many people coming to the Exhibition expressed their joy and "overwhelmed" by the grandeur of the project as well as the event being held here. The Exhibition covers all aspects of life: economy , culture, history, society, national defense, security... so it is very attractive to viewers.
For veterans, the Exhibition is also a must-see place to review the nation’s glorious historical traditions through memorable periods. In addition, the space displaying weapons also attracts the attention of those who have experienced the military environment.
For the young generation, coming to the Exhibition is once again a time to be proud of the historical tradition, of the economic and social development of the country, thereby inspiring, urging, and having more motivation to join hands to practice and develop the country.
In addition, the Exhibition space also has vivid and rich practical experiences (from traditional folklore to modernity, escape skills...) for children, so it is very suitable for families to organize a visit during the holidays.
With each space and each booth of all 34 provinces and cities, visitors feel like they have the opportunity to meet their own "homeland" again with familiarity and pride in the local achievements over the years.
And one of the other simple reasons shared by many people when coming to the Exhibition is the opportunity to record beautiful moments of themselves on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2. This memory is not only a photo but also has many other meanings that remind people of their pride and responsibility to the community and the country.
“During the Great Festival, just seeing our people in such large numbers makes me feel beautiful, more patriotic and appreciate the peaceful moments. I want to come here to record this moment as a souvenir with my camera as well as in my memory” – a young person in Dong Anh expressed his feelings.
However, the large number of visitors to the Exhibition caused traffic congestion in this area for many hours, making it difficult for traffic participants to move.
The National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" will last until September 5 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi).
