
According to Mr. Thi, the road has completed asphalt concrete construction for about 13.7/14km. The bridge section on the route has completed 5/5 bridges (Xoai Hot bridge, My Tho bridge, Tam Son bridge, Ba Lai bridge, Song Ma bridge).

The approach and main bridge of Rach Mieu 2 Bridge have completed the asphalt concrete pavement and basically completed the main construction items of the bridge. Currently, the construction units are continuing to carry out the experimental work of measuring the vibration of the cables/shock absorbers, implementing the work of inspecting the bridge load test, etc.
On July 31, Rach Mieu 2 Bridge will be completed.


It is expected that in early August, the units will meet to approve the project acceptance inspection council, then hand it over to Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces.


The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge construction investment project is expected to be inaugurated and put into operation before September 2.

At the construction site, the units are continuing to maintain more than 35 construction teams; about more than 100 pieces of equipment; 350 workers and 70 technical staff... implementing construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams. All are determined to complete the project as directed by the Prime Minister .

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Project starts at Dong Tam intersection (the intersection between National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 870) in Dong Thap province; the project ends at about Km16+660 National Highway 60, about 0.71km from the northern abutment of Ham Luong Bridge, in Vinh Long province. The project has a total investment of more than 6,810 billion VND, with My Thuan Project Management Board as the investor.

Rach Mieu 2 main bridge is a cable-stayed bridge, with a length of 1,971.2m, a 4-lane level III delta road, the total length of the project is about 17.6km. When completed, the project will help reduce pressure on the existing Rach Mieu bridge, minimizing traffic congestion on weekends and holidays.
