Actively participate in social security work in the locality

On its development journey, social security activities have always been identified by Agribank as a core value associated with community responsibility. With that spirit, Agribank Dak Lak Branch has actively accompanied the local government and people in the journey of socio-economic development in the area.

Promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", on the occasion of July 27 every year, Agribank Dak Lak Branch always maintains gratitude activities, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and deep gratitude to the generation that has made many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation.

Representatives of the Agribank Dak Lak Branch Trade Union presented gifts of gratitude to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thuong (Tan Lap Ward).

On the occasion of July 27 this year, the Branch organized a visit and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuong (92 years old, currently residing in Tan Lap ward). She is the only living Mother among the 4 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers that the unit has taken care of since 1995. The meeting took place in a warm and emotional atmosphere, expressing the sincere feelings and gratitude of Agribank staff for the Mother's contributions to the revolutionary cause.

On the evening of July 26, the Youth Union of Agribank Dak Lak Branch also participated in the candle lighting ceremony at the provincial Martyrs Cemetery with hundreds of union members and young people in the province. Thereby, expressing deep gratitude to those who have fallen for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. On this occasion, the Branch also organized visits and presented gifts (each worth 2 million VND) to officers and employees who are war invalids and children of martyrs working at the unit to foster solidarity and remind them of the value of past sacrifices.

In addition, Agribank Dak Lak Branch also focuses on implementing many social security activities with a spirit of humanity and responsibility for the community. In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, the budget for social security activities of the unit reached nearly 1.4 billion VND. For example, hundreds of scholarships with a total value of more than 120 million VND were awarded to students in difficult circumstances with good academic achievements. They not only received material support but also were given more confidence and determination to excel in their studies and life. Or the 11th "Tet Nghia Tinh" Program was deployed across the province with more than 2,200 gifts given to disadvantaged households, with a total value of more than 1.1 billion VND. This is not only a material gift but also a warm New Year's wish, a timely support to help many families overcome difficulties and have a warmer Tet. In addition, the Branch also actively participates in sponsoring local social security programs, taking care of the lives of workers and their relatives with a total budget of more than 130 million VND.

In addition, the collective of officers and employees of Agribank Dak Lak Branch continues to strongly respond to the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" and maintain the organization of internal donation and support activities, ready to participate in other social security activities when launched by the locality.
