To meet the need for emergency blood and treatment for patients, contributing to overcoming the blood shortage at the Provincial General Hospital, on the morning of August 2, the Ha Tinh Department of Health organized the first voluntary blood donation program in 2025 with the theme: "White blouse giving drops of blood of love". The first phase of the program was attended by a large number of officials, civil servants and employees of medical units in the area.
Units participating in the blood donation program include: Department of Health, Provincial General Hospital, Ha Tinh Rehabilitation Hospital, Ha Tinh Lung Hospital, Ha Tinh Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ha Tinh Mental Health Hospital, Eye Hospital, Saigon - Ha Tinh General Hospital, Ha Tinh TTH General Hospital, Department of Population, Department of Food Safety and Hygiene, Provincial Center for Disease Control, Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, Food, Center for Forensic Medicine and Medical Appraisal, Center for Protection and Health Care of Provincial Cadres, Center for Social Work and Vocational Education for the Disabled, Orphanage, Thanh Sen Medical Center, Thach Ha Medical Center, Cam Xuyen Medical Center.
Through the program, the Organizing Committee collected 187 units of blood to supplement the blood bank of the Provincial General Hospital. This is an important program, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the medical staff of Ha Tinh - they not only manage, treat and care for patients but also directly donate blood to serve emergency and treatment work in the context of blood shortage.
