Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, informed that a candidate at the Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School (District 6) exam site brought a phone into the exam room during the exam of an elective subject to take a photo of the 2025 high school graduation exam. The exam site promptly prevented the phenomenon of leaking or leaking the exam.
Also according to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in the elective subject of the first shift, there were 97,050 candidates taking the exam, 384 candidates were absent, the percentage of candidates taking the exam was 99.6%; in the elective subject of the second shift, there were 95,492 candidates taking the exam, 152 candidates were absent, the percentage of candidates taking the exam was 99.84%.
Thus, candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program have completed their high school graduation exams. Independent candidates will take the English exam this afternoon.
The 2025 national high school graduation exam has a total of 1,165,289 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of nearly 100,000 candidates compared to 2024.
Of which, 1,138,579 candidates took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program (accounting for 97.71%) and 26,711 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program (2.29%).
The 2025 high school graduation exam will be held at 2,493 exam locations with a total of 50,039 exam rooms, mobilizing about 200,000 officials, teachers, employees and functional forces to participate.
