Prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods

Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg dated May 15, 2025, from May 15 to June 15, members of the Provincial Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods (Steering Committee 389) launched a peak campaign to fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights.

Authorities inspected Tang Kieu Duong Import-Export Trading Company Limited, located in Phu Ho commune, Phu Tho town, and discovered over 7,000 products with signs of violating the law.

Through that, 70 violations were inspected, detected and handled, of which 68 were administrative violations; 2 cases were criminally prosecuted with 7 defendants. The total amount of money collected for the State budget was over 1 billion VND. The value of confiscated and destroyed infringing goods was over 200 million VND.

The main violations are production and trade of prohibited goods and counterfeiting of documents of agencies and organizations; use of fake documents of agencies and organizations; trading in counterfeit goods; trading in goods of unknown origin; tax evasion; violations of food safety...

Despite the raids, inspections and controls by the authorities, these profit-seeking individuals still commit illegal acts, producing and trading in counterfeit goods and goods of unknown origin, etc., affecting the health of consumers and negatively impacting social order.
