Signing of trust contract between the People's Credit Fund and socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune

On the morning of July 18, the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies (BSP) Cang Long under the VSP Branch of Vinh Long province and socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune (Farmers' Association, Women's Association, Veterans' Association, Youth Union) signed a trust contract on the implementation of trust loans for poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Tran Quoc Phong - Director of the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies of Cang Long; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thao - President of the Farmers' Association; Ms. Le Thi Kha Ly - President of the Women's Association; Mr. Lam Hoang Sang - President of the Veterans' Association; Mr. Lam Nguyen Duy Nhan - Secretary of the Youth Union of Cang Long commune.

According to the signed contract, the Social Policy Bank entrusted the socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune to carry out many important activities to support people in accessing preferential capital in a convenient, transparent and effective manner.

One of the key contents is propaganda and mobilization work. The socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune have the task of propagating and disseminating the guidelines, policies and policies of the Party, State and Government on social credit to all classes of people, especially the poor and other policy subjects; credit programs and processes, documents and procedures for borrowing capital at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; regulations on the operation of the Savings and Loan Group.

Mobilize group members to comply with the operating regulations of the Savings and Loan Group; practice savings; help each other, share experiences in using loans for the right purposes and effectively; repay principal and interest on loans on time as committed to the trustor; use technology applications, digital transformation in lending processes, products and services and participate in other activities of the Social Policy Bank.

Inspection and supervision work is also focused on. Every year, the socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune coordinate with the Social Policy Bank to develop a plan to inspect the activities of 100% of Savings and Loan Groups, ensuring that 90% of households with outstanding loans are monitored for capital use. At the same time, timely coordination is needed to handle cases of risks, overdue debts or misuse of capital.

In particular, the trust activity is also associated with digital transformation in credit management, guiding members to use technology applications to make the borrowing and repayment process transparent and improve service quality. This is an important step towards modernizing policy credit activities at the local level.

To effectively implement the assigned contents, every year, the socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune coordinate with the Social Policy Bank to periodically organize training for 100% of the Management Board of Savings and Loan Groups on delegation procedures; the chairman, vice chairman; secretary, deputy secretary and members of the Standing Committee of the entrusted party on delegation procedures, mechanisms, policies and new documents related to social policy credit activities. At the same time, the parties coordinate to organize monthly meetings at the commune transaction points to promptly remove obstacles and adjust plans to suit the reality.

In addition to properly performing the inspection and supervision functions, the socio-political organizations of Cang Long commune actively integrate credit activities with socio -economic development programs, such as: agricultural promotion, science and technology transfer, vocational training, product consumption support... Thereby, contributing to helping people use loans effectively, increase income, and stabilize their lives.
