In Kazan city, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation, the Vietnamese Culture Day recently took place. The event was organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Association of Vietnamese in the Republic of Tatarstan to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (1950–2025).
According to the VNA correspondent in the Russian Federation, the event was attended by Ms. Nguyen Mai Huong - Consul General of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg. On the Russian side, there was the presence of Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Natfullin, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Vakhitov, many leaders of local government agencies and a large number of students, Vietnamese people, and Russian friends living and working in the city of Kazan.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Mai Huong emphasized that the Russian Federation has always been one of Vietnam's most important strategic partners. The Vietnamese people will always remember and appreciate the great and sincere support from the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today.
The cooperative relationship between the two countries is increasingly expanding, especially in the field of cultural exchange - a factor that plays the role of a spiritual bridge between the two peoples.
The representative of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated this meaningful event, emphasizing the great contributions of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg in strengthening and promoting economic , scientific-technical and cultural relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event opened with a photo exhibition "Vietnam - Endless Beauty," introducing visitors to the landscapes, traditions, culture and lives of people from different regions of Vietnam.

The event also creates a Vietnamese cultural space, vividly recreating traditional dances, folk games, organizing cooking classes and traditional culinary activities.
The concert program "Vietnam-Russia Friendship Symphony" was performed by artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. The audience in the multi-ethnic city experienced traditional musical instruments such as monochord, T'rung, K'longput, bamboo flute, etc. along with folk songs from three regions, creating a concert full of identity.
In particular, the art program has the participation of outstanding artists of the Republic of Tatarstan, creating a unique and lively cultural exchange.

Also at the event, the head of the Tatarstan Legislature - Chairman of the Association of Nationalities of Tatarstan - awarded certificates of merit to a number of members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association and representatives of the City Youth Union for their active contributions to community activities in Kazan.
The Vietnamese Cultural Day in Kazan has left deep impressions in the hearts of the Vietnamese community and Russian friends in Kazan, contributing to connecting the Vietnamese community in Russia with national culture, helping young people understand and be proud of their roots.
This is not only an opportunity to introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends, but also a journey connecting tradition with modernity, connecting hearts between nations through art and culture./.
