"Product quality and compliance are Nestlé's top priorities. During nearly 160 years of establishment globally and 30 years of presence in Vietnam, we have always been committed to providing quality products that meet the nutritional needs of Vietnamese people.

"Nestlé products are guaranteed to comply with relevant regulations on food quality and safety," a Nestlé Milo representative affirmed.

Research is approved, evaluated and accepted in accordance with scientific regulations.

In 2022-2023, the Institute of Nutrition cooperated with Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited to implement a scientific research project to study the effectiveness of physical education combined with the use of Nestlé Milo products on the nutritional status, physical strength and mental strength of children in Vietnam.

The study was conducted in accordance with Decision No. 1016/QD-VDD of 2022 of the Institute of Nutrition on approving basic-level scientific and technological topics, and "Certificate of approval of the Ethics Council in Biomedical Research" No. 545/VDD-QLKH.

The research was accepted by the Council for the results of implementing basic-level science and technology tasks in 2023 according to Decision No. 400/QD-VDD and was recognized as the results of implementing basic-level science and technology tasks according to Decision No. 486/QD-VDD.

The results showed that after three months of intervention, the group of students using Nestlé MILO products combined with a physical education program had comprehensive improvements in physical factors: speed, strength, endurance, motor coordination and dexterity.

Nestlé Milo affirms compliance with advertising regulations

Before putting research information on packaging and in communication activities, Nestlé Milo affirmed that it had reviewed all relevant legal regulations.

Specifically, according to Article 27 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP, only specific product groups such as "health protection foods, medical nutritional foods, foods for special diets and nutritional products for children up to 36 months old" are subject to registration of advertising content.

Therefore, as a dietary supplement product (barley milk), Nestlé Milo is not in the group required to register advertising content and is not prohibited from advertising under Article 7 of the Advertising Law.
