The working delegation of the Provincial Military Command was led by Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
The sports festival takes place from July 31 to August 10, 2025, in Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho provinces.
The Lao Cai Provincial Military Command's athletes participated in 5 sports: soccer, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and pickleball.
On behalf of the working delegation, Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong commended and acknowledged the efforts of the athletes and coaches, and requested all athletes to show their highest determination, to demonstrate their full capacity and level during the competition, to achieve good results, and to contribute to enhancing the position, prestige and overall achievements of the Provincial Military Command.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong reminded the athletes to participate in the competition in the spirit of solidarity, exchange, learning, "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland"; absolutely strictly comply with the regulations and rules of the Organizing Committee, especially must ensure absolute safety during the competition.
The sports festival is a useful playground for officers and soldiers of agencies and units to exchange, learn, and practice physical strength; strengthen solidarity and improve the material and spiritual life of the forces. Through the sports festival, the Organizing Committee of the Military Region 2 Sports Festival will select a delegation of athletes to participate in the 2025 Military Sports Festival.
