This title is a worthy recognition for Mr. Pham Hong Diep - a pioneer in creating an ecological industrial park model with a strong Vietnamese imprint, integrating circular economic thinking, renewable energy and social responsibility.
According to the congratulatory letter from the President of the American International University - Mr. Ryan Doan, the title of Honorary Professor was awarded to Mr. Pham Hong Diep to honor "his outstanding contributions and significant achievements in the field of Environmental Science".
The school highly appreciates his passion, commitment and tireless efforts in promoting sustainable development values, and considers him an inspiring example for generations of international scholars and experts.
Along with the letter, the American International University has officially recognized Mr. Pham Hong Diep as an Honorary Professor – Faculty of Business, majoring in Environmental Science – with full rights and corresponding academic titles.
With a deep passion for environmental science, Mr. Pham Hong Diep has chaired and led many research projects of high practical value. From rural waste treatment models using biotechnology, to the construction and operation of the Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park - a pioneering model in Vietnam applying circular economy and renewable energy.
He is also the author and co-author of many scientific works and projects that are fundamental in building policies for the development of ecological industrial parks, circular economy, and Net Zero.
Before being awarded the title of Honorary Professor at the American International University, Mr. Diep was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor by the World Records University for his outstanding contributions in researching and implementing the Eco-Industrial Park model in Vietnam.
