Green Heritage Area - Where the past blends with the present

The event Culture, Sports and Tourism Days (VH-TT&DL) - Quang Nam 2025 takes place from June 6 to June 29, 2025, organized in many localities in the province such as Hoi An, Tam Ky, Dien Ban, Duy Xuyen... with a series of unique and attractive cultural and sports activities.

Last night, June 6, at Hoi An Memory Island (Hoi An City), the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province held the opening ceremony of "Culture, Sports and Tourism Days - Quang Nam 2025". Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), consulates of several countries in Da Nang, leaders of Quang Nam Province and thousands of people and tourists.

According to Mr. Phan Thai Binh , Permanent Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, with the theme "Green Heritage Area", the event not only aims to introduce and promote the unique cultural, sports and tourism values of the locality but also demonstrates Quang Nam's strong commitment to green development, heritage preservation and improving the quality of life of the community.

“Heritage Green Area”, the event is not only an opportunity to honor and promote the unique cultural, sports and tourism values of Quang Nam province.

The series of rich and unique activities includes many typical festivals and cultural events such as: Flying over the Heritage Land Festival; Tam Ky Sea Festival 2025; Quang Noodle Festival - honoring the dish recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage; Kim Bong Countryside Market - a cultural space of traditional craft villages; Bai Choi art festival of clubs across the province; Tam Ky Sea Festival; The 2nd International Yoga Festival; and sports competitions such as paragliding, men's football, table tennis, cycling, badminton, swimming, etc.

In addition, the program also displays and introduces a number of national treasures currently preserved in Quang Nam, contributing to affirming the historical and cultural depth and the role of the locality in preserving and promoting heritage values.

Quang Nam currently possesses a rich heritage system including: Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary - two world cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO; Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve; along with 20 national intangible cultural heritages, 125km of coastline, 460 historical relics - scenic spots and dozens of traditional festivals with strong identities.

The Flying Over Heritage Festival taking place at Hoi An Memory Island is part of a series of festival activities and typical cultural events "Culture, Sports and Tourism Days - Quang Nam 2025".

With the orientation of developing green and sustainable tourism, Quang Nam is gradually building the image of “Green – safe – friendly tourist destination”. Activities within the framework of the event are an opportunity for the locality to unleash its potential, attract investment, promote and connect domestic and international tourism.

The event “Culture, Sports and Tourism Days – Quang Nam 2025” is not only an occasion to honor cultural values, spread the message of sustainable development but also an opportunity for Quang Nam to promote cooperation, exchange and enhance its position on the national and international tourism map.

Notably, the work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and environmental sanitation has been directed by Quang Nam province, with close coordination between departments, branches and local authorities. Quang Nam Provincial Police proactively deployed plans to ensure absolute security and safety for major activities and events, protecting the peace of people and tourists.
