Integrating the new NVIDIA GPU chiplet into the MediaTek Dimensity Auto platform delivers cutting-edge computing, connectivity, and AI capabilities for next-generation smart car cabins.

MediaTek has announced a partnership with NVIDIA to provide a full suite of in-car AI cabin solutions for the next generation of software-configurable cars. This collaboration will combine the strengths of the two companies in automotive technology to deliver the most compelling solutions for advanced vehicles.

Through this collaboration, MediaTek will develop automotive SoCs that integrate the new NVIDIA GPU chiplet with NVIDIA AI and graphics IP. The chiplet is connected using ultra-fast and consistent chiplet interconnect technology.

MediaTek’s smart cabin solutions will run NVIDIA DRIVE OS, DRIVE IX, CUDA, and TensorRT software technologies—delivering full AI cockpit and cabin functionality with advanced graphics, AI, safety, and security features.

“AI and accelerated computing are driving the transformation of the entire automotive industry,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “The combination of MediaTek’s industry-leading SoCs with NVIDIA’s GPUs and AI software technologies will bring new user experiences, enhanced safety, and new connected services to all vehicle segments, from luxury to mass market.”

By tapping into NVIDIA's core strengths in AI, cloud, graphics and software, and combining them with NVIDIA ADAS solutions, MediaTek can enhance the capabilities of its comprehensive Dimensity Auto platform, which leverages the company's expertise in mobile computing, high-speed connectivity, entertainment and the expansive Android ecosystem, to deliver a more comprehensive smart in-car experience.
