About 20km from the center of Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh), Nhon Ly fishing village is nestled on the blue strait of Phuong Mai peninsula. Here, the roofs of fishermen's houses are close together, hugging the hillside, and in front is a large area of salt water that has fed many generations of people here.

Different from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist beaches, Nhon Ly beach offers a slow, familiar living space.

Coming here, visitors will walk on small winding roads leading to houses built close together along the mountainside.

Interspersed with ancient moss-covered walls are vivid folk murals reflecting an ancient fishing village between two sides of time.

In Nhon Ly, most residents make a living by fishing near the shore. Every time the sea season is high, from early spring to early summer, it is also the time when boats ply the waves and set sail from dawn.

Through the skilled hands of experienced fishermen, the techniques of casting nets to catch anchovies, sea shrimp, squid... become skillful in the eyes of tourists.

With each swing of the arm, the large nets are spread out in a flower shape, gradually spreading on the water surface, creating a scene that is both spacious and soft as if the sea is blooming.

Not only coming to sightsee, visitors can directly experience fishing and squid fishing with fishermen if they come in the right season, or simply go fishing early in the morning.

If you don't go to sea, you can wake up early and visit Nhon Ly fishing port, where boats dock after a night of work.

Here, fresh seafood is sold right on the beach. Squid, fish, crab, shrimp… can all be bought here at reasonable prices, and some locals are even willing to prepare or cook it on the spot if you ask.

Nhon Ly fishing village is not a bustling tourist destination, but thanks to that, it retains its original beauty as a part of the soul of Binh Dinh's sea.

Visitors come here not only to take a few photos, but to slow down, to understand more about people and the rhythm of the sea.
