The procedure for applying for a group visa only requires a passport scan with one photo.

Chinese group visas will be in paper form, attached to the passport for immigration procedures, with the words Republic of China/China Immigration Service/Entry confirmation along with the passport number and expiration date.

If applying for a separate visa, visitors will have to pay a higher fee, the procedure includes many documents according to the regulations of the embassy or consulate, fingerprints must be taken, no appointment can be made during peak times, and the waiting time is long.

A representative of Redtours said that Taiwan's e-visa requires visas from countries such as Australia, the US, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and the Schengen area to be able to apply for an e-visa.
