At Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, the delegation of Nam On Border Guard Station and the delegation of Border Guard Company 252, Military Command of Bolikhamxay Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic sent greetings on National Day - Independence Day to all officers, soldiers of the Border Guard and local people. The two sides also exchanged and reviewed the tradition of solidarity, friendship and close attachment between the two Parties, two States and two peoples.

In the coming time, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship, effectively prevent and combat all types of crime, increase information exchange, maintain security, order and social safety in the border area, contributing to fostering the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
On the same day, September 1, the delegation of Nam Can International Border Gate Cluster (CKQT), Laos visited and congratulated the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station, the local Party Committees and authorities of Nam Can and Muong Xen communes on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On the afternoon of September 1, Company 252 of the Bolikhamxay Provincial Military Command, led by Major Vong Kham Si Su Nan - Deputy Company Commander, visited Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station to congratulate the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. On this occasion, Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station also presented 200 kg of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce... worth about 10 million VND.
On this occasion, due to unfavorable traffic conditions, it was impossible to go directly, so the armed forces units of Xieng Khouang province also sent a congratulatory letter to Keng Du Border Guard Station and Keng Du commune government on the occasion of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
