New way out for Sancho

According to Sky Sports , the Bundesliga representative is having internal discussions about re-signing the MU winger. The "Red Devils" are said to be asking for around £16-17 million to allow Sancho to reunite with Dortmund for the third time in his career.

In the 2023/24 season, Sancho returned to Dortmund and played quite successfully on loan. At that time, the English midfielder was also part of the Dortmund first team that reached the Champions League final but only won second place.

For Sancho, Dortmund is also where he has shown the best form of his career. During the period 2017-2021, Sancho had a hand in 109 goals and assists in 125 appearances in all competitions.

Dortmund have spent far less this summer than they have made from player sales. They have invested around €27m on three signings, while earning close to €70m, mainly from the sale of young talent Jamie Gittens to Chelsea.

Dortmund have just over four weeks to decide on Sancho's signing for the 2025/26 season. However, Sancho may have to accept a pay cut to facilitate the deal. Currently, Dortmund's main competitor is Juventus.
