Sacred Flag-Salute Ceremony to Celebrate National Day at the Border
Towards the National Day, early in the morning of September 2, at the westernmost border of the Fatherland, officers and soldiers of A Pa Chai Border Guard Station and ethnic people in the border commune of Sin Thau (Dien Bien province) performed the flag-raising ceremony at A Pa Chai Flagpole.

Co-chairing the flag-saluting ceremony were comrade Dang Thanh Huy, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sin Thau commune and Colonel Le Duc Nghia, Deputy Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of Dien Bien province.
A Pa Chai is the westernmost place of the country, located in Sin Thau commune, Dien Bien province. This is the most remote and difficult place to travel on the northern border and is the land of the three borders of Vietnam-China-Laos. This is also a land rich in the cultural identity of ethnic groups...
The A Pa Chai flagpole was started in November 2023, located on the top of the mountain in the Khoang La San range (Sin Thau commune, Dien Bien province) at an altitude of 1,459m above sea level, about 1,387m from the border junction (marker 0). According to the design, the total area of the flagpole is 407m2 , including many items.
