Lai Chau organizes many activities to celebrate National Day September 2

On the morning of September 2, many localities of Lai Chau simultaneously held national flag-raising ceremonies and meaningful and solemn activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

More than 2,000 people participated in the flag-raising ceremony and singing the national anthem at the Independence Day celebration in Than Uyen commune.

At Lai Chau Provincial People's Square, the flag raising and saluting ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere, with the participation of thousands of cadres, leaders, armed forces, union members, youth and people of all ethnic groups.

When the national flag fluttered to the majestic national anthem, all delegates and people were moved to remember the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh , predecessors and heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

At the same time, at Than Uyen Commune Stadium, the Organizing Committee of Lai Chau Province's Independence Day 2025 also solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by more than 2,000 cadres, soldiers, civil servants, union members, students and people.

After the flag-raising ceremony, there was a parade of cheering cars of the five ethnic groups Kinh, Thai, Mong, Kho Mu, Dao and a folk dance performance with the participation of 1,500 people, creating an exciting and united atmosphere.

On the same day, the delegation of Lai Chau province led by comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense at the Uncle Ho Shrine in the premises of the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, visited the heroic martyrs, and offered flowers at the Uncle Ho Statue with the ethnic people of Lai Chau province.

Previously, on August 30, 31 and September 1, many cultural, artistic and sports activities took place in many communes to celebrate National Day such as: "Non nuoc Khoen On" art program, "Than Uyen - steadfast belief - firm steps towards the future" art night; "Huong sac Muong Than" program; Tu Lu tournament in Sin Ho commune, swallow-tail boat racing tournament in Than Uyen commune...
