City Labor Federation summarizes Workers' Month activities in 2025 and awards contests

The Chairman of the City Labor Federation awarded the Prime Minister 's Certificate of Merit to the Hai An District Labor Federation.

With the theme "Hai Phong workers pioneering into a new era", the 2025 Workers' Month organized by the City Labor Federation took place in a vibrant, large-scale, innovative and creative manner, attracting hundreds of thousands of union members and workers to participate. The opening ceremony was impressive with a mid-break gymnastics performance at 18 locations, a collective run with more than 2,000 people, a men's swimming competition and an emotional "I love Hai Phong" word arrangement. Many practical programs were implemented such as: press exhibition, launching of soft skills model, health consultation via hotline and application "Huong Cong", opening of union physical training point... Within the framework of the Workers' Month, the City Labor Federation presented more than 2,600 gifts, supported the construction and repair of 36 "Union Shelters" with a total cost of more than 3.3 billion VND. The union capital support fund also implemented an emergency loan package for workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 120 million VND. Cultural and sports activities took place enthusiastically with more than 3,000 programs, attracting more than 350,000 participants. The work of developing union members and building union organizations achieved many positive results: 110 grassroots unions were established, more than 27,800 new union members were developed; during the Workers' Month alone, 38 additional grassroots unions were established and 15,395 union members were admitted. The City Labor Federation also commended nearly 1,500 individuals and hundreds of outstanding collectives; registered 84 works, products and 58 innovative topics to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to request recognition of the Creative Labor Certificate.

Workers' Month 2025 has ended with a series of rich activities, spreading the spirit of solidarity and innovation, contributing to improving the lives of workers and affirming the role and position of trade unions in the new development stage of the city.

Rewarding groups with outstanding achievements during Workers' Month.

Within the framework of the Opening Ceremony of Workers' Month 2025, the city's trade unions at all levels organized a live and online performance of mid-break exercises at the 2025 Workers' Festival. At the same time, the Mid-break Exercise Video Clip Contest was launched for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the city. The contest received positive responses with 17 entries, demonstrating the spirit of health training, team building, and spreading a healthy lifestyle in the office environment. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 A prizes and 6 B prizes to outstanding works.

The second cooking contest "Sticky rice, sweet soup" in 2025, with the meaningful message "Cooking together - Connecting love", has attracted a large number of female union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in the city to participate and vote through 2 rounds on the Hai Phong Trade Union Fanpage. The contest has the participation of a variety of contestants, from workers, civil servants to leaders of departments, branches and sectors. Many works not only demonstrate culinary skills but also spread the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the collective and family. The contest received thousands of quality entries, typically: Thuy Nguyen District Labor Union with 331 works, Tien Lang 276, Vinh Bao 248 and An Lao 162 works.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 collective prizes, 102 individual prizes through online voting and 160 prizes selected by the Jury, contributing to creating a useful, cohesive and emotional playground for union members and workers in the city.
