Vietnam - China Friendship Tree Planting Ceremony 2025 in Binh Duong

(BDO) On the morning of June 5, at the 2nd campus of Thu Dau Mot University (Ben Cat City), the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and related units to organize the Vietnam - China Friendship Tree Planting Ceremony in 2025. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tu Chau, Acting Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh said that the Provincial People's Committee has approved and implemented the "Urban Greenery Project in the province, period 2021-2025". Binh Duong has planted nearly 2.6 million trees of all kinds to achieve the goal of greening the whole province, creating balanced and sustainable development... He believes that tree planting activities will contribute to the province achieving the goal of developing green areas, helping to balance the ecological environment and sustainable development.

Mr. Tu Chau said that tree planting activities are meaningful in preserving the natural environment and connecting the community.

Immediately after the ceremony, delegates planted 70 red ironwood trees on the campus of Thu Dau Mot University.
