Gentle, feminine but profound... that is how violinist Trinh Minh Hien expresses his patriotism through music in the album "Lap linh vang sao" released on August 19 in Hanoi .
“For me, revolutionary music is closely linked to the fate of the nation. I am passionate about every melody of the Fatherland, and I paint patriotism with the sound of the violin. Blending in with the crowd, I saw the country as a strip of land, sparkling with golden stars,” the artist confided.
The album is a deep gratitude that Trinh Minh Hien sends to veterans - both those who are living and those who have become immortal, and at the same time conveys his belief in a future with heads held high for the next generations.
This is a “musical connection” - where examples and stories are told in the language of melody, blending classical and contemporary influences. Through this, Trinh Minh Hien not only honors the artistic value of Revolutionary music - a priceless treasure of Vietnamese music - but also sets a guideline for the new generation of composers, so that music is always a bridge connecting the past with the present.

The album “Lap linh vang sao” includes 9 works, including 8 typical Revolutionary music ensembles specially arranged for violin by artist Trinh Minh Hien.
From the beloved midlands in “My Hometown” to the splendid Capital in “Hanoi People,” from “My Hometown Quang Binh” to the great plateau in “The Girl Sharpening Spikes,” from the indomitable South ( “Grateful to Sister Vo Thi Sau” ) to the fierce battlefield ( “Song by the Hammock” ), from the image of the Old Father in the medley “Ho Chi Minh Song” to the day “The Country is Full of Joy” – each melody is a vivid slice of history, a shared memory of the entire nation.
In particular, the album also has a new song "Bien Song" written about Truong Sa soldiers, composed by artist and musician Trinh Minh Hien.
The album was released on 58 digital platforms in more than 200 countries and territories, as an artistic gift to the public on the country's important occasion.
Along with this album, artist Trinh Minh Hien officially released the MV "Nguoi Ha Noi" made by Italian director - Gianmarco Maccabruno Giommetti, a familiar collaborator of Trinh Minh Hien in many previous projects, and also the person who proposed the special idea for the MV celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day.

According to the director, he chose more than 60 portraits of Hanoians and more than 30 unique, typical scenes of Hanoi. The whole crew spent days wandering around the city to find typical representatives of Hanoi's lifestyle today, the spirit of new Hanoians, and to preserve precious images of the old generation.
Not stopping there, artist Trinh Minh Hien became the first artist to collaborate with the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts in an MV project. The music product is called “Tien Quan Ca.”
The opening of the MV features an audio excerpt of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945. Next, the MV takes viewers into art galleries. The violinist acts as a bridge to introduce to the audience the extremely valuable works of many generations of Vietnamese artists and artisans, including 9 National Treasures, including 6 paintings: “Party Admission in Dien Bien Phu,” “Em Thuy,” “Two Young Women and a Baby,” “Uncle Ho in the Viet Bac Resistance Zone,” “Binh Phong,” “Giong” ; and sculptures “Bodhisattva Guan Yin,” “Queen Trinh Thi Ngoc Truc,” “Dragon-Carved Door.”
