Lamborghini announced its first-half 2025 business results on July 30. Despite achieving record sales of 5,681 vehicles delivered, up more than 2% compared to the same period in 2024, the company's operating profit decreased by nearly 5%, mainly due to the impact of unfavorable exchange rates in the last quarter.

Lamborghini's revenue for the period was largely unchanged from the same period last year, but operating profit fell by about $31 million to $492 million. The profit margin on revenue fell from 28.2% to 26.6%, reflecting pressure from external market factors such as global economic and political volatility.
European market leads, Asia continues to grow
Europe, the Middle East and Africa continues to be the largest region for Lamborghini sales with 2,708 vehicles delivered in the first half of 2025. The Americas region reached 1,732 vehicles, while Asia- Pacific recorded 1,241 vehicles, demonstrating steady growth in emerging markets.

According to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the sales success is largely due to the strong appeal of two new models: the Revuelto, the company's first V12 hybrid, and the high-performance hybrid version Urus SE. He also affirmed that these positive results reinforce the correctness of the strategy of electrifying the entire product range.
Huracan is about to have a replacement version, pure electric Urus is canceled
Lamborghini is preparing to bring the Temerario, the Huracan's replacement, to customers in the second half of 2025. This is seen as a factor that boosts sales despite trade barriers such as tariffs.

However, earlier this month, Lamborghini announced that it was canceling plans to produce a pure electric Urus, instead launching a hybrid version in 2029. At the same time, the car expected to be the first pure electric car developed from the Lanzador concept may also switch to a hybrid form, instead of running completely on electricity as originally planned.
