Art program to welcome the festival |
With the theme "Books give children thousands of good things", the Festival attracted 6/9 regional libraries to participate: Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library with nearly 200 children at 2 levels of primary and secondary school.

11 stories with the following topics: Vietnamese history, Uncle Ho, national heroes, love for the homeland, seas and islands and protecting sea and island sovereignty were told by the children with emotional and engaging voices. Along with the stage performances, accompanying dances, and elaborately staged illustrations, the characters seemed to come out of the pages of a book, vivid, realistic, and touching to the audience.

Lam Dong Library participated in the festival with the story telling performance of “Hai Ba Trung” performed by Tran Quan Bao Nhien and students from Le Hong Phong Secondary School – Duc Trong, depicting the indomitable image of the national heroine who led the people of the region to fight against the Northern invaders nearly 2000 years ago.

As a result, Lam Dong team won the A prize for the storytelling performance "Hai Ba Trung", Tran Quan Bao Nhien won the prize for the most impressive storyteller.
