On May 27, 2025, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lai Vung District Party Committee coordinated with the District Political Center to organize a conference to report on current events in the second quarter of 2025 for all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire district online at 12 communes and towns.
At the Conference, delegates listened to Master, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc An, Head of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Dong Thap Provincial Police report on 2 topics: Risks of information insecurity and basic skills to ensure information security in cyberspace; Protecting children in the cyber environment. Leaders of the District Justice Department communicated the contents of the proposed amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
The current affairs reporting conference is held quarterly by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lai Vung District Party Committee and the Political Center to orient propaganda work, provide official information on important current affairs taking place in the district, and outstanding events in the province, the country, and international events, thereby creating consensus and political and ideological stability among cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life.
