From today, August 11, 2025, online deposit interest rates at An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank) have been reduced by 0.1%/year, applicable to deposits with terms from 1 month to 60 months. This is the first time in 5 months that this bank has changed its deposit interest rate table since mid-March 2025.

According to the online interest rate schedule applied by ABBank from today, after reducing interest rates by 0.1%/year for all terms, the 1-month term bank interest rate is only 3.1%/year for deposits for individual customers receiving interest at the end of the term.

Bank interest rates for 2-month terms have dropped to 3.3% per year, while interest rates for 3-5 month terms have also dropped to 3.8% per year.

Online deposit interest rate with interest paid at maturity applied to individual customers with 6-month term deposits has been reduced to 5.3%/year from today. Meanwhile, the deposit interest rate of 5.4%/year is newly listed for terms from 7-11 months and terms from 13-15 months.

The highest deposit interest rate applied by ABBank for online deposits with interest paid at the end of the term is 5.6%/year, only for a 12-month term.

For remaining terms from 24 to 60 months, savings interest rates are reduced to 5.3%/year.

While reducing online savings interest rates, ABBank still maintains the same interest rate schedule for savings at transaction counters. Therefore, the interest rate mobilized at the counter for all terms is 0.1%/year lower than the interest rate for online savings.

Currently, the bank's counter savings interest rate is still listed at 3%/year for 1-month term deposits with interest paid at the end of the term; 3.2%/year for 2-month term deposits.

Savings interest rates for terms from 3 to 5 months are listed at 3.7%/year, while interest rates for terms from 6 months remain at 5.2%/year.

The savings interest rate at the counter of 5.3%/year is maintained by ABBank for deposit terms from 7 - 11 months and from 13 - 18 months.

Currently, ABBank still maintains a bank interest rate of 5.2%/year for savings deposits at the counter with a term of 24 - 60 months.

In addition, ABBank is known as the bank that maintains the highest “special interest rate” in the system at 9.65%/year when customers deposit savings for a term of 13 months. The condition to enjoy this preferential interest rate is that the deposit balance is from 1,500 billion VND or more. Below this level, the interest rate received is only 5.3%/year.

Before ABBank, some banks have adjusted their deposit interest rates since the beginning of August. In particular, Viet A Bank announced new interest rates for the following products: Dac Loc Savings with the highest deposit interest rate of up to 6.3%/year; Dac Loi Savings with the highest deposit interest rate of up to 6.4%/year; and Dac Tai Savings with the highest deposit interest rate of 6.8%/year.

Along with that, Eximbank announced the expansion of the “Combo Casa” savings product with online deposits, the highest savings interest rate is 6%/year with a term of 18 - 36 months applicable to Infinite customers.
