Miracle at FIFA Club World Cup 2025™

Fluminense's 44-year-old goalkeeper Fabio had an impressive performance against Dortmund at the FIFA Club World Cup in the early morning of June 18.

Fabio came out and shone at the age of 44.

At 44, Fabio was still named in the starting line-up for Fluminense against European side Dortmund. His career spans two centuries, starting in 1997 and showing no signs of slowing down. The match against Dortmund was the Brazilian goalkeeper's 1,375th appearance.

In the opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Fabio had an experienced performance. In addition to his precise entries and exits, he also had 3 saves, helping the Brazilian representative keep a clean sheet against a highly rated European opponent.
