Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi spoke at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi, reporters from four press agencies in the Russian Federation: Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency, Voice of Vietnam and Nhan Dan Newspaper.

At the ceremony, delegates watched films reviewing the formation and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press and affirmed the positive contributions of the country's press to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland over the past 100 years.

Speaking on this occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi highly appreciated the contributions of resident press agencies to the development of Vietnam-Russian Federation relations, and acknowledged the specific hardships of press activities in the Russian Federation, a key and large area.

According to Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi, 2025 is of great significance to the relationship between the two countries. The resident press agencies have done a good job of promoting and providing timely and diverse information about major events in the bilateral relationship, including the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation and the official visit to the Russian Federation by General Secretary To Lam.

The Ambassador emphasized that the most important mission of the press, regardless of location or time, is to serve the country, the people, and the interests of the nation. For the press force stationed abroad, in addition to their professional duties, reporters must be aware of their role as representatives of the country in cooperating with representative agencies and local press, and how to attract more foreign journalists to write about Vietnam as well as the country's development.

The resident reporters shared their feelings about the important event of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, about the role and responsibility of foreign correspondents as a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. The reporters affirmed their determination to explore forms of expression and transmission of information and events and, together with the representative agencies, to participate in searching for and promoting the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
