In his opening speech, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan said that this is a regular year-end meeting to review the socio- economic development situation, national defense and security, budget revenue and expenditure, public investment in 2024, tasks and solutions for 2025; consider and issue a number of regulations, mechanisms and policies to promptly concretize the 2024 Capital Law passed by the National Assembly and resolve many other important contents. Based on the achieved results, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council requested the delegates of the People's Council to carefully study the reports and documents to analyze and objectively and comprehensively evaluate the achieved results; frankly point out the existing limitations, shortcomings, causes and propose synchronous, effective and feasible solutions to remove bottlenecks and bottlenecks, create a breakthrough in socio-economic development in 2025 and the next stage to build the Capital to develop rapidly and sustainably, together with the country, firmly entering the new era of the nation.
