Check the implementation of regulations on safety protection of high voltage power grid works

On the morning of August 21, Ninh Binh Electricity Company organized an inspection of the implementation of regulations on safety protection of high-voltage power grid works at the Dong Van 3 Supporting Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project (Duy Tien Ward).

Representatives of Ninh Binh Electricity Company discussed with the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Infrastructure Business Project of Dong Van 3 Supporting Industrial Park.

This project started construction in August 2024. During the construction process, road construction and land leveling for housing reduced the ground-phase distance of the 110kV line to 6m. Meanwhile, according to safety regulations, the ground-phase distance must be 7m. This situation occurred on the line section from pole 5 to pole 28 with a length of nearly 3km, belonging to the 110kV line, Highway 171, posing a potential safety risk to the national grid.

In this situation, Ninh Binh Electricity Company requested the construction unit to ensure the safety of the power grid throughout the construction process. Install warning signs and create barriers to prevent vehicles from passing through. At the same time, request the construction unit to speed up the construction progress, coordinate with the Electricity industry to soon upgrade the power line to ensure the safety corridor of the power grid, and prevent electrical incidents from occurring, affecting the safety of the national power grid.
