The 2025 Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Journalism Award was officially launched, under the direction of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). The Center for Science and Technology Communication is the standing agency of the Award.
This is an annual award organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology , which has attracted the participation of many press agencies, journalists and reporters nationwide. Thereby, the award contributes positively to raising social awareness of the role, significance and impact of science and technology on socio-economic development.

The year 2025 marks an important turning point when the Award for the first time expands its scope of consideration to foreign individuals and organizations whose press works are published in Vietnamese newspapers in accordance with legal regulations.
The aim of the Award is to encourage and honor authors with outstanding journalistic works on science , technology, innovation and digital transformation.
According to the regulations, participating works must be of high quality in terms of content and form. The works must reflect deeply, comprehensively, and discover issues related to research, application of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; introduce effective initiatives, models, and typical achievements that have a positive impact on life.
At the same time, the award also seeks works that honor outstanding individuals and groups in this field. Works must ensure accuracy, objectivity, timeliness, be presented clearly, logically and be suitable for each type of press (print, electronic, radio, television, press photos).
In particular, works that have a positive impact on society, create media effects and promote public awareness of the role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation will be given priority for evaluation.
Eligible entries are those posted between January 1 and November 15.
Each type of journalism will have award categories including: 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 2 Encouragement Prizes. Each author or group of authors can submit multiple works but will only be awarded a maximum of one prize at the highest level.
The winning authors and author groups will receive the Award Cup, Certificate from the Organizing Committee and corresponding prize money, announced annually by the Standing Body.
The Award process consists of three rounds: Preliminary, Final and Announcement and Award Ceremony. The time of the award ceremony will be decided by the Organizing Committee, ensuring compliance with the implementation progress and current financial regulations.
Press agencies and authors can directly send their works to the Award Standing Agency by post or email, along with the Registration Form certified by the publishing press agency.
