Groundbreaking ceremony of Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Construction Investment Project (Phase 1)

(DN) - On the morning of August 19, in Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Construction Investment Project (phase 1) took place.

Attending the ceremony was Director of Vietnam Road Administration ( Ministry of Construction ) Bui Quang Thai.

Leaders of Dong Nai province attended the ceremony with comrades: Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Long Khanh ward Dang Minh Nguyet and leaders of departments, branches and localities in the province.

This is one of 8 key projects and works selected by Dong Nai province to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway is the first section of Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway, with a length of more than 60km. The starting point is at Km0+000, the intersection area with National Highway 1, connecting with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, in Dau Giay commune; the end point is at Km60+243.83 (end of the intersection area with National Highway 20), connecting with Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project, in Phu Lam commune. The total investment of the project is nearly 8.5 trillion VND.
