First time synthesizing parade practice, A80 parade on Ba Dinh Square

On the evening of August 21, at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi), a general rehearsal of the military parade took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Attending the comprehensive training inspection were Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission ; General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security ; and leaders of many departments, ministries and Hanoi City.

After more than 3 months of training and 4 combined training sessions at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), this is the first time the A80 combined training session was held at Ba Dinh Square, with the relatively full participation of all forces.

Including more than 16,000 officers and soldiers; including 43 walking blocks, 18 standing blocks, 14 blocks of military and special vehicles of the Vietnam People's Army and the People's Public Security.

After 40 years since 1985, large-scale military vehicles, weapons and equipment participated in the parade at Ba Dinh Square.

At this combined training, for the first time, there were formations of the Royal Cambodian Army, the Lao People's Army and the Russian Federation military bloc participating.

At the rehearsal, after the ceremony, the National Emblem, Party flag, Fatherland flag, President Ho Chi Minh portrait procession, 80th anniversary model of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, command vehicle, vehicle carrying the Victory Flag, honorary unit of military branches, female military band, walking units, vehicles, artillery of military branches of the Vietnam People's Army, Vietnam People's Public Security... took turns passing through the stage in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, on Ba Dinh Square.

Then the teams split up along the streets, continue marching, return to the assembly point and end practice.
