'Thirst for Life' donates over 303 million VND to help Ms. Hoang Thi Ha's family

The program is implemented by Binh Phuoc Radio - Television and Newspaper, the Association for the Support of the Disabled - Orphans and Poor Patients of the province in coordination with Nhat Advertising Joint Stock Company ( Ho Chi Minh City). Ton Tan Phuoc Khanh Company is the main sponsor.

Ms. Ha's husband died in a traffic accident. For more than a year, she has been the breadwinner of the family. She has 4 children who are all adults and can work to earn money to support themselves and their families. However, fate is cruel, all 4 children have illnesses. The youngest daughter has a mental retardation and needs someone to take care of her, the second daughter has pancreatitis and muscle atrophy and cannot walk normally. Currently, her eldest son has just been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure and is in poor health.

Head of the organizing committee of the program "Aspiration to Live" Nguyen Duc Tien presented a "lucky" gift and a symbolic plaque from the benefactor to Ms. Ha.

Sympathizing and sharing the difficulties of poor patients, the program "Aspiration to Live" has connected the community to Ms. Ha's family. More than 303 million VND is the total amount of money that the program mobilized from benefactors to give to Ms. Ha's family. This is a large amount of money to help her family overcome difficulties, have money to treat their children's illnesses and stabilize their lives.

After discussing with the family and local authorities, the program's organizing committee agreed to allocate 20 million VND for the family to use for medical examination and treatment for the children; more than 13 million VND for family expenses for 3 months; and the remaining 270 million VND to save for long-term medical treatment.

“Thank you to the program, to the benefactors and the local government for supporting my family during this difficult time. More than 300 million VND is a very large and meaningful amount of money that my family received today. I am very happy to have this money to treat my children's illnesses. I hope they will get well soon so they can have a better life,” Ms. Ha said emotionally.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Association for the Protection of the Disabled - Orphans and Poor Patients mobilized 26.6 million VND to give to Ms. Ha's family.
