Urgent investigation and support for families of victims of the explosion in Ha Dong

On the morning of June 18, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 91/CD-TTg regarding the explosion at house number 8 - TT35, Van Phu urban area, Phu La ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi.

Accordingly, the explosion occurred at around 5 p.m. on June 17, causing particularly serious damage, killing two people. On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister sent his condolences to the families of the victims.

The telegram directed the Hanoi People's Committee to urgently visit and provide material and spiritual support to the victim's family, and to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident. If violations are discovered, relevant organizations and individuals must be strictly handled according to the law.

In addition, Hanoi is required to step up propaganda and mobilize people to strictly implement regulations on the management of weapons, explosives and fireworks; at the same time, deploy fire prevention and fighting plans, especially on hot days.
