During the training period (from July 22 to 24), the trainees were introduced by lecturers from the Center for Library and Digital Knowledge, Hanoi National University, about digital information products and services applied in the field of national defense; instructions on standard data entry; a set of standard rules used to describe and create access points for documents in advanced libraries; unifying the professional processes of newspapers, magazines, etc. These are new contents to better serve the professional work of military scientific information. During the training period, the trainees will visit the Library of the Information Officer School. The organizing committee will conduct tests and evaluate the results of the trainees after the end of the training course, and at the same time answer questions and recommendations on professional work and expertise during the learning process.
Currently, the management of huge library resources is an urgent need. Therefore, organizing this digital library training course aims to support officers and employees working in military scientific information activities in searching and retrieving information more easily and accurately; better solving requirements in the process of using common data to describe catalog records and common control vocabulary to identify documents. contributing to the team of officers and employees working in military scientific information activities of military agencies and units to successfully complete assigned professional tasks.
