Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Center for Research and Preservation of Vietnamese Cultural Beliefs; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Tuyen Quang city, along with a large number of people, tourists and artisans from Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang , Hung Yen, Cao Bang, and Hai Duong.
The practice of worshipping the Mother Goddesses of the Three Realms has been recognized by the United NationsEducational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is a unique form of folk performance with a harmonious combination of artistic elements.
The festival is an opportunity for artisans from all over the country to gather in Tuyen Quang to offer gifts, celebrate, meet, and exchange in a spirit of solidarity, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of heritage in the community. The festival will last until March 23.
