Ngo Quyen District: Opening of the District-level Excellent Classroom Teacher Competition, school year 2023-2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of February 22, at An Da Secondary School, Ngo Quyen District, the opening ceremony of the District-level Excellent Classroom Teacher Competition for the 2023-2024 school year aimed at improving the quality of class management work of the teaching staff.
17 teachers representing the Head Teachers of Secondary Schools in the district participated in the Competition. The teachers participated in the Practice of a period of organizingeducational activities, content of weeks 23 and 24 according to the School Plan of An Da Secondary School and presented a report on a measure to contribute to improving the quality of the work of the head teacher at the educational institution where the teacher is working.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Ngo Quyen District, Tran Thi Hong Hiep, said that the contest aims to discover and honor excellent class teachers, promote outstanding individuals, promote emulation movements in schools, and is also one of the solutions to improve the quality of class management work of teachers. Not only honoring excellent class teachers, the contest also creates opportunities for teachers to practice self-study, creativity, learning, exchanging, communicating, and disseminating experiences in class management work for teachers. The contest results are evidence for participating in the assessment of professional standards and implementing policies for teachers according to current regulations.
After the Competition, Teachers recognized as Excellent Classroom Teachers will be responsible for re-teaching the lesson on organizing educational activities and reporting on the measures they took in the Competition within the school to share experiences of effective application in classroom management.
