The program took place in an open and exciting atmosphere with many performances, group games, and experience sharing activities between old and new soldiers and the sister unit. Stories, smiles, and even sincere words of encouragement helped to erase the distance and create a strong bond.

Sergeant Nguyen Thanh Cong, Battalion 1, a soldier enlisting in 2024, shared: “I experienced the first days away from home, inevitably feeling anxious and confused. But thanks to programs like this, I feel secure, confident and love the military environment more. Now, I am very happy to have the opportunity to share my experiences and motivate soldiers enlisting in 2025.”

Private Dam Trong Vinh, a soldier enlisted in 2025, said: “After only a short time in the unit, I have felt the sincere affection, care, encouragement, and support of the staff and former comrades. I believe that with the spirit of solidarity and wholehearted support, we will soon mature and meet the requirements of the mission.”

The close attention from the Brigade Command to each soldier is a key factor in the success of the programs. The unit commander has proactively been close to and listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the soldiers. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quoc Bao, Deputy Political Commissar of the Brigade, said: “The exchange of “Making friends” is an important content in building a military cultural environment; creating solidarity, demonstrating trust, unity of will and action, love for people, comradeship, mutual support and assistance. Creating motivation for non-commissioned officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties, strive to fulfill assigned tasks well”.
