Combining Dong Nai's potential and strengths after the merger to build a unique tourism brand

Reporting on the activities of the Dong Nai Tourism Association in recent times, Mr. Tran Dang Ninh, Chairman of the old Dong Nai Tourism Association, said that the old Dong Nai Tourism Association was established in 2007. Up to now, the tourism association has 250 members, including 50 organizational members and 200 individual members who are members of local branches, tour guide branches, chef associations and members of member clubs. The old Binh Phuoc Tourism Association has 69 members divided into many fields of activity: tourism, passenger transportation, accommodation facilities, motels, hotels, restaurants, entertainment areas, production and trading of agricultural products, etc.

According to the arrangement plan, the new HHDL will be called HHDL of Dong Nai province, which is a voluntary professional social organization of organizations, enterprises of all economic sectors and individuals legally operating in the field of tourism and tourism services. HHDL operates with the purpose of gathering and linking members to cooperate, support and help each other to contribute to the development of the tourism industry of Dong Nai province, ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of members and customers.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province Vu Xuan Truong hoped that businesses as well as members of the new Dong Nai Tourism Association will continue to make efforts and strive to stick together with the Tourism Association, attracting more members to participate and contribute to the common cause of the tourism industry. Although the Tourism Association is a professional social organization operating on a voluntary basis, it still needs an operating apparatus to have unity. Each member of the Tourism Association, depending on their own conditions and abilities, contributes to the common activities of the Tourism Association.

After agreeing on the personnel and operational plan, HHDL synthesizes, reports to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and prepares for the organization of the congress. In addition, through the recommendations of HHDL members, it is recommended that the functional departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism synthesize, report, advise the department's leaders on how to handle and support HHDL in the spirit of not bureaucratizing HHDL's operations, but state agencies play a supporting role, creating the best conditions for HHDL to operate best, attract more members, and bring tourism in Dong Nai province to a new level.

The old Dong Nai province has had a resolution since 2021 on developing tourism into an important economic sector, even at a time when the tourism industry is facing many difficulties. This shows the province's great vision for tourism development. Binh Phuoc province also aims to make tourism a breakthrough program of the province. This shows the unity between the leaders of the two provinces who share the same orientation on tourism development, associated with green tourism products. In particular, according to the 2025 target, Dong Nai will ensure double-digit growth. To achieve this goal, tourism businesses need to make efforts, accompany, unite, carry out many tourism activities, shape their own identity, and build a Dong Nai tourism brand on the basis of combining the potential and strengths of Dong Nai after the merger.
