According to statistics from Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center, from 0:00 on February 1 to 16:00 on February 3, 1,103 flights took off. Of these, 659 flights were delayed, accounting for nearly 60% of the total number of flights.

The information board shows many flights delayed due to weather.

On February 1 and 2, fog, low clouds, and reduced visibility below operating standards occurred at airports in the northern region, negatively affecting flight operations. Many flights had to be diverted or delayed.

Bad weather has had a major impact on operations at Tan Son Nhat Airport, the country's largest aviation hub, which is entering its peak season.

Flight delays have a knock-on effect on departure times between airports; passengers are congested, causing congestion in the boarding lounge area.

Today, the number of passengers passing through Tan Son Nhat airport is expected to be the same as yesterday, with about 128,000 people and nearly 900 flights. Of which, the number of flights is concentrated mainly at the domestic terminal with about 303 flights, carrying about 60,500 passengers.
