Attending the program were Politburo member, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Party Central Committee member, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong; leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Journalists Association and a large number of officials and employees of press agencies nationwide and agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City.
The "Proud of the City I Love" Agribank Cup 2025 walking and running race attracted more than 5,000 participants, with nearly 1,000 athletes who are journalists, reporters, editors, people working at press agencies, and students from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication of universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and localities across the country.
Athletes participate in the 21.06km run at the "Proud of the City I Love" Agribank Cup 2025 Walk-Run Race.
The race includes a walking distance of 3.5km and 3 running distances including 5km; 10km; 21.06km. The 21.06km distance is a distance that shows respect for the silent but great contributions of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press over the past century. All distances start from Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City and end in Thu Thiem area (Thu Duc City). Athletes will move through the streets and landmarks in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, such as Nguyen Hue Street, Thu Ngu Flagpole, Ton Duc Thang Street along the Saigon River, Ba Son Bridge...

Walking and running race "Proud of the City I love" Agribank Cup 2025 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
According to the Organizing Committee, at the Thu Thiem finish line (Thu Duc city), all participating athletes, after completing the distances within the specified time, will be awarded a commemorative medal with the symbol of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Sharing after completing the 21.06km run, Journalist Nguyen Dinh (Southeast Asia Magazine) said: Running is a sport that trains health, I personally like long distance running because it requires me to be passionate and try to overcome myself. I am really proud to be the first person to finish the 21.06km run of the Walk and Run Race on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
"Proud of the City I Love" aims to arouse the honor and pride of all citizens, including journalists, who were born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City. Promoting the tradition of Ho Chi Minh City - "the city of love", right after the program, the Organizing Committee mobilized 700 million VND to support the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, contributing to helping Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in difficult circumstances.
Also at the program, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded a Vietnamese record certificate to the Vietnam Journalists Association: "Proud of the City I Love" Agribank Cup 2025, the Walking - Running Race with the largest number of journalists participating in Vietnam.
