Lieutenant Colonel Kha Truong Vung, Deputy Head of the Political Affairs Department of An Giang Provincial Police, awarded scholarships to students who overcame difficulties and studied well at Kien Giang Vocational College.
At the program, through the form of dramatization of skits and oral propaganda, union members and young people are equipped with legal knowledge on drug prevention and control; the harmful effects of drugs and electronic cigarettes among students.
Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc, Head of the Youth Department of An Giang Provincial Police, said the activity aimed to promote communication about the harmful effects and consequences of drugs on health and the race. At the same time, it aimed to raise public awareness in preventing, combating and controlling drugs, persistently building a culture of eliminating drugs among union members and youth; synchronously deploying preventive measures, effectively combating crimes and violations of drug laws, especially reducing demand.
On this occasion, An Giang Provincial Police awarded 10 scholarships to students who overcame difficulties and studied well at Kien Giang Vocational College.
