Over 11 billion VND to support livestock farming households affected by African swine fever

Today, April 4, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong signed a decision to temporarily allocate more than 11 billion VND from the provincial budget reserve in 2024 to support livestock farming households affected by African swine fever in 2021 and 2022.

Accordingly, Quang Tri province temporarily provided funding for Trieu Phong district of more than 4.5 billion VND; Gio Linh district of more than 3.9 billion VND; Vinh Linh district of more than 1.5 billion VND; nearly 1.5 billion VND for Hai Lang and Cam Lo districts; the remaining funding was provided for Dakrong, Huong Hoa districts, Dong Ha city and Quang Tri town.

Over 11 billion VND to support livestock farming households affected by African swine fever

The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to be responsible for arranging 30% of the budget in the local budget structure together with the temporary provincial budget to implement the support to ensure timely and correct subjects according to regulations.

It is known that up to now, African swine fever has been controlled throughout the province.
