3 citizens used excavators to salvage a maritime buoy drifting ashore in Quang Tri.

QTO - On the morning of August 30, information from Vinh Hoang Commune Police said that the unit is verifying the origin of a large maritime buoy that drifted ashore on the local coast after storm No. 5.

Previously, at around 6:15 p.m. on August 29, three citizens, Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1979), Nguyen Van Hinh (born in 1983) and Nguyen Van Hoan (born in 1985), all residing in Tan Mach village, Vinh Hoang commune, discovered a red maritime buoy drifting ashore on the local coast. Immediately afterwards, the three citizens used a motorbike to salvage the buoy, brought it ashore and reported it to the authorities.

The buoy is about 12m long and 3.5m in diameter. Upon receiving the information, Vinh Hoang Commune Police were present at the scene to protect the property; at the same time, they coordinated with the authorities to verify the origin of the buoy to handle it according to regulations.
