This year is the first year that the iPhone goes on sale right at midnight. Previously, the iPhone 13, 14, and 15 all went on sale from 6 a.m. The number of genuine iPhone 16s sold in Vietnam on September 27 alone reached 37,000 units, mostly the Pro line, helping revenue surpass a trillion VND.
FPT Shop delivered 10,000 machines on the first day, reaching a revenue of 300 billion VND. The goal in September is to deliver 20,000 machines.
Mobile World is considered the best seller in the market, activating 3,000 devices on the opening night and expected to deliver 30,000 devices in September. It is estimated that on September 27 alone, the system sold over 10,000 devices.
In addition, some other retailers such as CellphoneS, Viette; Store, ShopDunk or Hoang Ha Moile also confirmed sales of 2,000 to 7,000 units on the first day of sale.
According to a representative of a distributor, the first batch of iPhone 16s allocated to the Vietnamese market is about 55,000 - 60,000 units. Of which, iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max account for the largest proportion of orders, especially the desert titanium version. Currently, users may have to spend an additional 3-4 million VND to own the desert gold version while other options are still available.

- iPhone 16: 128 GB capacity is 22,999,000 VND; 256 GB capacity is 25,999,000 VND; 512 GB is 31,999,000 VND.
- iPhone 16 Plus: 128 GB capacity is 25,999,000 VND; 256 GB capacity is 28,999,000 VND; 512 GB is 34,999,000 VND.
- iPhone 16 Pro: 128 GB capacity is 28,999,000 VND; 256 GB capacity is 31,999,000 VND; 512 GB is 37,999,000 VND; 1 TB is 43,999,000 VND.
- iPhone 16 Pro Max: 256GB capacity is 34,999,000 VND; 512 GB is 40,999,000 VND; 1 TB is 46,999,000 VND.
