From August 22-24, the Nghe An Children's Support Fund (Nghe An Provincial Department of Health ) coordinated with sponsors to present 300 gifts to children in Huu Khuong, Nhon Mai, My Ly and Muong Tip. Each gift is worth over 1 million VND, including 1 school backpack and 2 bottles of nutritional vitamins, specially designed for children from 1 to 12 years old.
According to the plan, the entire activity will give more than 1,200 gifts to students in 8 communes affected by floods, including: Huu Khuong, Nhon Mai, My Ly, Muong Tip, Tam Thai, Muong Xen, Luong Minh and Tam Quang, with a total value of more than 1.4 billion VND.
"We hope that in addition to material support, these gifts will also give the children motivation and confidence to enter the new school year," said a representative of the Nghe An Children's Support Fund.
