Traditional cake making contest at Dinh Thay Thim festival

BTO - As part of the series of activities of the Dinh Thay Thim Cultural - Tourism Festival, the traditional cake making contest took place enthusiastically at the Dinh relic site.

According to annual tradition, on the anniversary of the death of Thay and Thim, Tam Quy Association members show their respect to the deity they worship. Each branch maintains the practice of making a cake to offer to Thay and Thim. The cakes made by the skillful and meticulous hands of each member will be offered to Thay and Thim during this year's Tet Thu ceremony.

This competition has the participation of 28 members divided into 7 teams from 7 branches who will compete in wrapping cakes. At the competition, the branches will prepare their own ingredients and decorations for a tray of finished cakes including: 4 Chung cakes, 4 Tet cakes and 15 It cakes.

The competition brought a joyful and exciting atmosphere to the people and visitors to the Festival. Through the competition, the members demonstrated their dexterity and solidarity, as well as contributed to the exciting atmosphere of this year's festival season.
