At the workshop, experts and researchers discussed and analyzed key issues related to solutions and resources to implement the program in the coming period.
Opinions focused on clearly defining cultural development goals in line with practical needs, strengthening the preservation and promotion of national cultural values... ensuring sustainability and effectiveness in implementing phase 1 to 2030 to achieve 9 target groups.
Specifically: The system of cultural values, the system of human values, the system of Vietnamese family values are implemented nationwide through codes of conduct; striving for 100% of provincial-level administrative units to have all three types of provincial-level cultural institutions; completing the restoration and embellishment of 95% of special national monuments; cultural industries contribute 7% of the country's GDP; striving for 100% of students in the nationaleducation system to access and participate in art education activities, cultural heritage education, etc.
Through the workshop, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will fully absorb opinions and complete the report before submitting it to the Government for approval.
The National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period was approved by the National Assembly for investment in phase 1 according to Resolution No. 162/2024/QH15 dated December 27, 2024 of the 15th National Assembly with a total minimum implementation capital of VND 122,250 billion. Of which, the central budget accounts for 63%, the local budget accounts for about 24.6%, and the rest comes from other sources.
